[Your name is John Egbert, and you have recently joined a gym to get back into shape. You determined that if you were ever going to make yourself look decent to anyone you would have to tone your muscles and and lose your cute little baby pudge.

You have taken a wide interest in a couple of areas around the gym, mainly the cardio workouts, the weights, and the pool. There was something about going to take a swim around eight-thirty in the evening. It was usually just you and the highly attractive lifeguard- you think his name is Dave? But you aren't too sure.

On this particular night you had been thinking far too hard, and hadn't put your glasses back on quite yet before you walked back around the edge of the pool. For some reason you think this was a wonderful idea. A fantastic way to end your night. But that isn't seeming to be the case. On your walk back to the edge you trip over a pool noodle, hit your elbow and side on the edge of the pool and fall in.

The world is kind of black. There isn't much you can do.]

[He pulls into McDonalds. He assumes they're getting out and going into the dining area. They always do.]

[He just smiles a bit as he gets out and closes the door.] I'm starving and I need some chicken mcnuggets, dude.

[He follows suit. Opening the door for Dave when they got up there. JOHN WAS TOTALLY GONNA PAY FOR DAVE'S MEAL. Because yeah being a gentleman.]

[John follows and then steps in front of Dave at the ordering counter.] Order whatever you like, it's on me tonight.

You're going to make me fat, John. You can't just tell a guy he can order whatever he wants.

[Not that Dave usually ordered a lot in the first place, but still.]

You're gorgeous. There isn't any way eating a big meal right now will make you any less so.

[Which means Dave please order something good and filling. John is offering.]

[Dave kind of just orders his usual though. Christ, Egbert. It's not like he's going to order everything just because you're offering to pay. He just wants dinner.]

[He shrugs his shoulders, then he orders his own and pays for the both of them.]

[He carries their food to a table in one of their empty dining rooms. This was going to be the most wonderful date and no one could ever top a McDonalds date. Even if it wasn't truly the first date.]

[Dave takes a seat across from John.]

I already said yes, didn't I? Doesn't that imply that I've already fallen for your dashing good looks and charming personality? Shit, what more can you ask from a guy.

[If Dave is being 100% serious right now then John would be falling out of his booth. Because holy shit that is definitely what he wanted to happen so that perhaps they could kiss without John you know, DROWNING.]

[Dave lets out a rather attractive snort, except it wasn't attractive at all. Wow.]

[John is packing up their shit right now, and unclipping his keys from his pants loop. He knows exactly what Dave is implying and dear jesus this was not a time to be fancying dirty thoughts.]

Better try and keep it down until we're at least in the car. [Dave let's his shades fall a bit so he can give John a flirty wink. He's totally getting to his feet already.]

[John can control his boner, thank you very much! But that wink is going straight to him, and he's a bit flushed.]

I can help myself until we get to the car at least. [John tosses his drink, and gets to his feet with Dave. But what would happen if he got a boner in the car? It's not like Dave could give him road head or anything.]
